Swenox research and development projects are managed from Gothenburg Technical Centre, (GTC) which specialises in the design and technologies needed for advanced exhaust and emissions control systems.

At our facilities we utilise the latest engineering software, custom designed test rigs and advanced test equipment to undertake research, design, development and testing work; generally focussed on the next generation of exhaust systems to meet the legislative requirements in Europe, Japan and North America. We are experienced in managing complete exhaust engineering projects for large OEM’s, and we prefer to work in close cooperation with our customers.

The project work is performed according to the APQP development process which is established at Swenox since several years. This includes a number of optimised checklists, including FMEA templates, SWOT, risk analysis, test plans, change of order documentation, open issues lists, bill of material, team feasibility commitment, all reviewed in nine APQP gates.
